What data we collect

When you send an enquiry we process the details you enter: name, email address, telephone number, postcode and town, the service requested, the options you selected and any note you add. To carry out the matter we additionally process the vehicle documents you hand over to us.

Purpose and legal basis

We process your data to answer your enquiry and to perform the contract, Art. 6(1) (b) GDPR. Where we are required to retain records under commercial or tax law, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Disclosure

To carry out the matter we pass the necessary details and documents to the competent vehicle registration authority. Beyond that we do not disclose your data, unless we are legally obliged to do so.

Retention

We delete enquiries that do not lead to a contract once the matter is closed. Contract data is retained for as long as statutory retention periods require.

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When you visit the site, technical access data is processed, in particular IP address, time of access and the page requested. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the site securely, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The provider is based in the United States. The transfer is based on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Our emails are sent via Resend, on the same basis. We have concluded a data processing agreement with both providers.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, the right to data portability and the right to object. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For Lower Saxony this is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony.
