Terms and conditions
For services provided by Schnellzulassung Hannover to consumers and businesses.
1. Scope and provider
These terms apply to all contracts between you and Oskar Baker, Silberstr. 42, 30655 Hannover, trading as Schnellzulassung Hannover. Deviating terms of the customer do not apply unless we have agreed to them in writing.
2. What we do — and what we do not
We handle vehicle registration matters for you as your authorised representative before the competent registration authority: first registration, re-registration, re-registration after deregistration, change of address and deregistration.
We do not provide legal advice. We are not permitted to do so under the German Legal Services Act (Rechtsdienstleistungsgesetz), and we do not offer it. We are a private company and not part of the public administration. Whether an application is approved is decided solely by the registration authority.
3. How the contract is formed
The enquiry you send through this website is not binding and does not cost anything. The contract is formed when we confirm your order in text form, or at the latest when we begin performing the service with your knowledge.
The contract is concluded in German and governed by German law. This English version of our terms is a translation provided for your convenience; in case of doubt the German wording prevails.
4. What we need from you
You provide us with complete and correct documents and a signed authorisation. The registration authority only accepts original documents; photographs and scans are not sufficient.
If documents are missing or incorrect, we cannot complete the matter. We will inform you as soon as we notice. No costs arise for you as long as we have not yet attended the authority.
5. Prices, disbursements and payment
Our price consists of our service fee and pass-through items. Pass-through items are the statutory fees of the authority under the German schedule of fees for road traffic measures (GebOSt) as well as the cost of number plates and stickers. We pass these on unchanged.
If the authority changes its fees, or if additional official fees arise in an individual case, we pass these on at their actual amount and inform you beforehand as soon as we become aware of them.
Payment is due on completion, when the plates and documents are handed over. We do not require advance payment.
6. Processing time
We process orders promptly. How long the matter takes, however, depends on the registration authority, over which we have no influence. Any indication of duration is non-binding unless we have expressly agreed a fixed date in text form.
7. Liability, in particular for documents
We are liable without limitation for injury to life, body or health, and in cases of intent and gross negligence. In cases of slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation — an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely. In such cases liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of this type of contract.
Careful handling of your vehicle documents, in particular the registration certificate Part II, is an essential contractual obligation. We hold business liability insurance covering loss of and damage to documents entrusted to us.
8. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you have a statutory right of withdrawal. Please see our right of withdrawal notice for full details, including what applies if you ask us to start before the withdrawal period has expired.
9. Final provisions
German law applies. If you are a consumer with your habitual residence in another country, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of that country remain unaffected.
Should individual provisions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
